They say that hind sight is 20/20, if we all had a chance to do things over, we would do things better, if not different all together. It is normal and natural to want to protect our family, our friends, our neighbors, our cities, our country, looking after people and things that we love is how God put us together. Humans will do things for others before they will do for themselves even when they need the very same things for themselves. There is a scripture that says that “for a good man, some even dare to die”, yes humans will lay down their very own lives to protect the ones they love. I am 70 years old, and I lived through the Vietnam era, my draft number came up, I went to Fresno for the filtering, and before I was called up the draft ended. I did not enlist and go anyway, No one that was in that war came back whole. No one that is in any war, comes back whole. War is not honorable, there is nothing honorable about going to a foreign country and killing innocent men women and children who have nothing to do with the political battles of politicians and corporations, just because a suit, sitting at a desk, tells you too, you must be able to think and reason for yourselves. You cannot work evil toward your fellow man, just because someone tells you too. In our time, one man stood up in the world, and told the rest of the world to go to war and kill each other, and more than 200,000,000 people did just that, instead of 200,000,000 people turning their guns on that man, he ended up having to kill himself. Blind patriotism is a false belief system of religious fervor. Eisenhower warned us all of the Military Industrial Complex, and Kennedy warned us all about a small group of powerful men who had as their goal the enslavement of all humanity. Regan warned us all about the New World Order, Bush warned us all about the New World Order, Clinton warned us all about the New World Order, Bush JR, warned us all about the New World Order, and Trump is following lock step in the New World Order. Then ask yourself the soul searching question , is this anything that I should be honoring, or is this something I should despise.
